Testimonials

"Ever since (they) began to offer original graphics, I was first in line to purchase them. As the owner of several on-line t-shirt and gift shops, I'm constantly searching for quality graphics to use on my products; however, most graphic artists won't allow their graphics to be used commercially. Logo Masterpiece is one exception to that "rule". They offer excellent quality, high-resolution graphics and I highly recommend them for personal or commercial use."

Clipart F.A.Q.

Following are answers to some questions often asked. If your question is not addressed below, please email us with your question.

1. Can I use these graphics to sell on CafePress or other POD products?
These graphics were designed with CafePress Shopkeepers in mind. You may also use them in your Printfection and Zazzle stores. You may not offer them on the CDs that CafePress allows you to sell. But, you can freely use them to decorate t-shirts, cards, buttons, tote bags and all the other apparel and merchandise on the CP website.
Please Contact Us about usage on your other POD stores. Some POD sites require that you own the copyright to the art, so that once you upload them to their site, they have the rights to the images. Also, some sites require you to only offer images that are exclusive to their site. I own the copyright to all these images and they may not be used on other PODs until I review their Terms of Service. Please contact me before purchasing.

2. Can I illustrate a book I am writing with your images?
If you contact me first with the details of the book and how they will be used to illustrate the book. Most likely, yes. I would need to approve how the credit is worded. If you are using my graphics as the main source of illustration, then the front cover would need to say something along the lines of Illustrated by Ne' Metger, in addition to proper credit somewhere in the book. If you are just using my images along with other images, you may just need to include a copyright notice near the image as a caption. I will need to review your book on a case by case basis.

3. May I manipulate these images?
To some extent. You may add to these images anything from text to other images. You may also change the color of these images. But, you may not manipulate these images in any way that would make the image unrecognizable from the original image. Such as, you may not buy these images so that you can pull the image apart to place just pieces on other art. Example: You may not Photoshop out just an eye, so that you have an eye for another drawing. But, you could cut the image in half to place stuff in the middle or to make one of the pieces appear to be looking out from behind a door! Please, contact me if you have any questions about the way you may and may not manipulate these images.

4. Will you be offering EPS version of these images?
I have plans later on to offer some EPS images. But, that is not in my immediate plans.

5. Can I use these graphics in scrapbooking kits I sell?
No. To my understanding, this would mean that you would be offering the actual graphics to people who buy your kits so that they can design with. That is what I am already doing here. You can purchase these graphics to design with and then sell that product commercially. Your product cannot just be another way to sell the graphics themselves! You may not use these graphics on CDs, in scrapbooking kits, on websites as a download or anything similar. You may use these graphics to design the packaging of a product or to decorate a product. If you have any questions on this matter or need clarification for your particular project, do not hesitate to Contact Us about it.

6. I sell on CafePress, do I need a commercial license?
Only if you employ 5 or more people. Even if you are considered a business, you do not need to purchase a commercial license to use these products on your CafePress products or other business needs. You only need a commercial license if you employ five (5) full-time employees or more.

7. I employ 5 or more employees, how do I obtain a commercial license?
Contact Us to purchase a commercial license.

8. Why do I need to purchase the commercial license just because I employ 5 people? And why do I not need to buy it if I employ only 4?
I have designed these graphics so that individuals and small businesses can obtain high quality commercial use graphics. But, I want to stay away from large businesses taking advantage of my inexpensive prices. I feel that once a business has 5 employees or more, that they can afford to buy a one time commercial license. It is not a lot to ask. And will allow larger businesses to purchase any of my clipart sets at will once the one time fee is paid.

9. How does the commercial license work and how much is it?
The commercial license costs $50. It is a one time fee. Before you make your first purchase, please contact us to see if you need a commercial license. If you do, then I will invoice you for the $50. Once that is paid, you may legally purchase and use and many graphic sets as you like.

10. How are your images drawn?
All of my graphics are digitally drawn in Adobe Illustrator CS2. I begin with a 10" x 10" or 12" x 12" square and the finished graphic fits snugly inside this box creating a high resolution image for a high quality print job. All images are at least a resolution of 2000 or 2400 high or wide. Currently, the dpi is 200. Example: The Easter basket is 2178 x 2400 and 200 dpi.
